Blog is very important to a company, but the blogging policy is very important too.The professional blog is not the same as personal blog. Professoinal blog is very good to company's business, but every company should set up their policy.
According to Toby Ward,Here are some tips to consider when establishing a blogging policy:
1.No anonymous post must have the authors name with a link to their email
2.A statement expressing that the blog and its contents are the views and opinions of the author only and not necessarily those of the employer
3.Corporate confidentiality and privacy policies must be adhered to with links to each contained in the blog footer
4.Each employee should have the prior consent of their immediate manager for maintaining a blog
5.Mutual respect for the company, its customers, and employees is critical and should be reflective in all writings
6.Potty language is a no-no; develop a style guide or sheet outlining the tone or feel a blog should adhere to (e.g. professional, corporate, conversational, avoiding jargon, etc.)

What can professional blogs do for business and organizations?
This is my first time to have my own blog although blogs are very popular today.Blogs are very good for business. You can share your business experience on your blog, other people can learn a lot from your blog. You can ask your questions on your blog and the person who has this kind of experience can answer your questions and help you to solve the problems. You can communicate with your client. They give you an opportunity to talk directly to your clients. The rapid, easy format of the blog makes it easy to publish a lot of content on different pages
According to usatoday.com,"To develop a following. If you are an expert in a specific field, it's possible your blog will develop a following of devoted readers. This is certainly true in technology, but it's possible if you've got expertise in any specific area, and you're willing to add new entries to your blog regularly."
